Definition of the permissions

This section outlines the different types of permissions: View, View & Edit, and Admin, all of which are based on the Confluence Space Permissions (see fig.).

  • Users/Groups with View permissions: Can only view content.

  • Users/Groups with View & Edit permissions: Can view and add pages, whiteboards, databases, and Smart Links.

  • Users/Groups with Admin permissions: Have full access, including viewing and editing pages, whiteboards, databases, Smart Links, and managing space settings as Space Admin.

Attention

Only the permission types marked with a red rectangle are considered by the Permission Reporting app, others such as Delete or Add Blogs, Comments, Blogs, etc. are irrelevant.
